An Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant, Ben Higgins dedicated his life to saving others. In honor of Ben’s memory and his final selfless wish to help others through whole body donation, Tomorrow Link established the Heroes Helping Heroes Fund.

 

This fund will allow Tomorrow Link to expand free access to advanced training opportunities. We are dedicated to providing quality training to Emergency Medicine Professionals that significantly improves critical care skills performance and decision-making that will ultimately save countless lives.

Ben Higgins

Physician Assistant,  Endurance Athlete,  Devoted Son, Husband & Father  

Ben’s life was filled with deep love for his family. He was renowned among his family, friends, and colleagues for his smile, love, gentleness, patience, kindness, and thoughtfulness, and for being a devoted son, husband, father and well-organized, self-giving man.

 

A Physician Assistant in the Emergency Department at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, California, Ben was respected for his calm and personable bedside manner, his problem-solving skills, and his thorough clinical care.

 

Ben was an accomplished endurance athlete. An avid rower in both high school and college, Ben went on to coach for the Marina Aquatic Center Junior Rowing team at the UCLA Marina Aquatic Center in Marina del Rey. He also enjoyed playing ultimate frisbee, camping, and climbing. Ben completed three Iron Man competitions and numerous marathons, ultramarathons, and triathlons. 

 

Tomorrow Link is proud to be able to honor Ben’s legacy by helping emergency medicine providers receive the best possible training; a cause close to Ben’s heart, that will carry his memory on forever.
